HookedFishing covers gauged rivers and lakes in all 50 states and across the Canadian provinces. The sitemap carries 3,545 pages: state and province hubs, a page per water, 329 long-form river guides, lake guides, species hubs for trout, bass, salmon, catfish, panfish and walleye and pike, plus hatch charts with a picker that pulls up the chart for any single water.
Because the core of every water page is a live reading, the content stays current on its own. The site was migrated to the new USGS Water Data APIs in October 2026, ahead of the old service's retirement, so the data feed is on the supported path for years.
Anglers can create accounts, keep profiles and post catch reports, and a weekly digest is already wired up, which gives a buyer the base of an email list from day one.
